Meet Alyssa

Alyssa Mattocks (they/them) is a certified yoga and meditation guide with a deep commitment to inclusivity and wellness. As a neurodivergent individual with AuDHD, Alyssa has been practicing yoga since 2007 and facilitating transformative experiences since 2017.

Alyssa employs a combination of techniques to guide individuals to expanded states of consciousness, creating neurodiverse safe spaces that welcome all bodies, ages, and identities. Gifted in helping people reconnect with their raw authentic nature, Alyssa hosts national and international retreats annually and offers private and group sessions regularly. What is Yoga Nidra?

Yoga Nidra, also known as "yogic sleep," is an effortless lying-down meditation that guides you into deep states of relaxation and harmony. This practice helps shift brainwave activity, transitioning from the sympathetic state of stress to the parasympathetic state of rest and digest. Accessible to all bodies and brains, Yoga Nidra offers an opportunity to experience true rest and luxuriate in a state of deep relaxation.
